How does the Arctic Warrior Cold Plunge System work?

Simply connect the inlet and outlet pipes to the Chiller unit using a simple hand-tight valve, turn on the chiller, and after it has self primed it will start to chill and filter the water, taking the water temperature down to a frosty 37 F / 3°C (if lowest temperature is selected by you).
The water chiller works with an integrated water pump, so there is no need to worry about DIY pumps and more purchases.

How long does it take to cool down water?
The speed of cooling depends on the power of the chiller, the water temperature, the climate at your location and the amount of water that you filled your ice bath with.
With the 1/2 HP chiller you can cool down water from 65 to 39 degrees in about 2 hours. It takes around 35-40 minutes to cool down water from 52 to 42 F, as per many of our user tests.

When you notice it’s not clean enough, usually every 3-6 weeks, some prefer earlier.
The water chiller filters out particles and cleanses water, but changing the water every few weeks helps maintain hygiene. We recommend keeping the lid on the tub when not using it to avoid getting additional debris inside. We recommend washing the inside of the tub every time you do a water change.
What maintenance is required?
Maintenance purely lies with the chiller filters, cleaning the metal mesh in the chiller, and replacing the particle filter.
The heat pump system is fully sealed and leak-tested and should never need to be maintained. The main flow and priming pumps have an exceptional lifespan and are expected to last more than 10 years of continuous use.
